1. Switch the power OFF and unplug

the power cord.
2. Remove the top shroud display bracket cover, see "Covers and Panels Replacement"
on page75.
3. Carefully lift the front of the EFX

and place on a temporary support block, such as a
foam or wood block. This is necessary to remove weight from the outrigger side
tubes. Before proceeding, be sure that the machine is in a solid stable position and
will not tip or fall from the temporary support.
4. Remove the three bolts and washers from the upper outrigger tube mount and then
the four bolts and washers from the lower outrigger tube mount. Retain part(s) and/or
fastener(s) for installation.
