Ramp Replacement
This procedure provides instruction to replace the Ramp assembly.
Procedure
Review entire procedure before starting.
WARNING:Care must be taken when work is being performed in the area of the
stairarms. Pinch points exist between the stairarm and ramp and between the
stairarm and crankarm, when the rear covers are removed.
Removal
1. Switch the power ON..
2. Start a manual workout and raise the incline to maximum incline.
3. Switch the power OFF and unplug

the power cord.
4. Remove these rear drive covers: the drive cover access panel, top, left, and right
drive covers (see "Covers and Panels Replacement" on page75).
5. Remove the stairarm, see "Stairarm Assembly Replacement" on page163.
6. Remove the ramp lower pivot mounting bolts (2x), pivot sleeves (2x), flat washers
(2x), wave washers (2x) and flat washes (2x) from the left and right lower pivot frame
mounting bracket.

Disconnect a device power cord plug or cable connector from the power receptacle or out-
let.
