EFX400 Lift Motor Replace Lift Motor Replacement
Procedure
Review entire procedure before starting.
WARNING:Care must be taken when work is being performed in the area of the
stairarms. Pinch points exist between the stairarm and ramp and between the
stairarm and crankarm, when the rear covers are removed.
Removal
1. Switch the power “ON”.
2. Raise the incline to level 20.
3. Switch the power "OFF".
4. Remove the lift cover magazine rack and front lift covers (see "Covers and Panels
Replacement" on page75).
5. Remove the two mounting bolts and disconnect the lift yoke from the crossramp.
Carefully pull the yoke from under the ramp and then lower the ramp resting on the
back lift cover. Return the yoke into the back lift cover yoke slot. Retain part(s) and/or
fastener(s) for installation.
