Concentrate on the feel of the stairarms and the rolling of the wheels on
the ramp. Be on the alert for unusual noises, bumps, or movements.
INCLINE control test
1. Set the RESISTANCE to level 5 and pedal while performing this test.
2. Operate the INCLINE motion control from minimum to maximum range while
verifying the machine operation:
l
Make sure that the console INCLINE motion control operation is smooth
and working correctly.
l
Verify that the console INCLINE level indicators are showing correct
information.
l
Verify that the ramp can reach the maximum and minimum incline levels.
l
Verify that the lift motor operation is smooth while changing the INCLINE
from minimum to maximum levels.
l

STOP Button Test
Verifies the emergency STOP button operation.
1. Start a manual workout and set the RESISTANCE to 10.
2. Press the emergency STOP button and verify that the resistance resets to 0.
Heart Rate Monitor Test
Verifies the Handheld Heart Rate function.
1. Access the Hardware Validation Test (51765761) and do the Heart Rate Test.
2. The heart is acquired and displayed.
Return to service
1. Verify that there are no new error codes in the Error Log.
2. Switch the power OFF.
3. Make sure that the machine is setting level and stable. Adjust the side-to-side
stability using the outrigger side tube stabilizer feet.
4. Make sure that any external power cords and any interface cables are properly
routed, connected, and safe from physical damaged or being a tripping hazard.
5. On successful completion of all verification tests, return to service.
