6. Verify the Step-up and Drive belt alignment and tracking:
Start a manual workout and pedal at a high speed for 1 minute or more and stop.
Then visually inspect and verify that the step-up and input drive belts remain parallel
to each other and maintain even spacing: Repeat test several times to ensure proper
operation.
a. If the belt alignment and tracking is bad, cannot maintain alignment and track-
ing, then make adjustments as needed. Go to the Belt Alignment and Tracking
procedure.
b. If the belt alignment and tracking is good, no adjustment is necessary.

1. Switch the machine power “OFF” and unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
2. Remove the rear drive covers, see "Covers and Panels Replacement" on page75.
3. Remove the left and right stairarms from the crankarms, "Stairarm Assembly Replace-
ment" on page163.
