Power Entry Module Replacement
This procedure provides instruction to replace the Power Entry Module and how to verify
and replace the input fuses.
Procedure
Review entire procedure before starting. This procedure applies to both the left and right
stairarms.
Removal
1. Switch the power OFF and unplug

the power cord from the wall power outlet.
2. Remove these rear drive covers: the drive cover access panel, top, left, and right
drive covers (see "Covers and Panels Replacement" on page75).
3. Unplug the power cord from the Power Entry Module.
4. Disconnect the blue wire from terminal D, the brown wire from terminal A, and the
green wire from the chassis ground "GND" terminal on the back of the power entry
module.
5. Remove the two screws that fasten the power entry module to the bottom cover.
Remove the power entry module from the bottom cover.

Disconnect a device power cord plug or cable connector from the power receptacle or out-
let.
