Step-up Belt Tension Spec Verification
4. Verify the step-up belt tension. Measure the step-up belt tension using the Gates Car-
bon Drive™ app (see Gates® Carbon Drive Mobile™ App tutorial). Verify the sonic
belt tension is within specification limits 230 Hz +/-10.
a. If the belt tension is within specification, continue procedure and verify the belt
alignment and tracking.
b. If the belt tension is NOT within specification, tension the belt to specification.
