5. In "Compulsory Unauthorized Copy Prevention", specify whether to select the embedded
pattern in the printer driver or on the printer's control panel.

You can use the printer driver to specify all embedded pattern settings except for the type and
density of the embedded pattern.
• [Machine Setting(s)]
You cannot specify embedded pattern settings by the printer driver. The embedded pattern
specified using the printer's control panel will be printed.
6. Click [OK].
7. Log out.
1. Log in as the machine administrator from the control panel.
2. Display the "Unauthorized Copy Prevention Stg." screen.

3. Enable pattern printing.
[On] [OK]
