Cooling temperature in°C (if "absolute" is selected in menu number402): The
cooling ends if the internal time ends, if the actual temperature of the heating ele-
ment falls below the set temperature. The minimum temperature that can be set is
20°C. The default is 50°C.
The setting range is limited by the maximum value specified in the Heating el-
ement menu, menu number306 or by the temperature range set in the Heating
element menu, menu number 305.
Cooling temperature in% (if "relative" is selected in menu number402): The cool-
ing phase of the internal time ends when the actual temperature has fallen to the
set proportion of the setpoint temperature. Any settings within the range 20…
100% are possible. The default is 40%.
Cooling temperature in seconds (if "Time" is selected in menu number402): The
cooling phase ends when the time set here has elapsed. The setting range is 0…
99.98 sec. The default is 1.00sec.
8.6.6 Setting beginning time of sealing
The requirement for starting the set sealing time (Settings menu, menu num-
ber104) can be set in the Machine menu, menu number404.
The following settings are possible:
Setting Description
Begin heating upon start The parameterized sealing time begins immedi-
ately after the set start delay has elapsed (Ma-
chine menu, menu number403). When the start
delay is 0 sec, sealing begins as soon as the
START signal is activated.
When the temperature is reached
(default)
Heatup begins immediately after the set start de-
lay has elapsed (Machine menu, menu num-
ber403). The set sealing time does not begin until
the actual temperature of the heating element has
reached 95% of the setpoint temperature.
