2.2) Removal of the electric starter

Proceed as follows to remove the electric starter :

2.2.1) Positioning the engine on the trestle mounting plate

Step Procedure
1 Disconnect electrical connection from the starter.
2 Disconnect the ground cable (4) from the housing.
3 Remove the electric starter (1) completely by unscrewing 2 cyl. screws (2)
from the crankcase and gearbox case (3).
