4. Click on 'OK' in the 'Information' window.
a The following window is opened:
5. Select 'Run in background' in order to run the firmware update in the
background while continuing to work in Cerberus-Engineering-Tool.
a The active firmware update is indicated by the symbol on the right-
hand side of the status bar.
a Pop-up windows in the bottom right-hand corner of the software will notify
you when the firmware download and the firmware update are complete.
6. Follow the procedures on the display of the ↑ 'Station' and wait until the
following lines appear:
– 'Switch-off S38-2 now'
– 'The panel will reboot automatically'
7. On the 'Station', set the 'S38-2' switch to 'OFF'.
a The 'Station' is restarted many times. This procedure takes up to ten
minutes.
a After the restart, the 'Station' display shows the available BDVs. It is not
necessary to install a ↑ BDV at this point.
