4.7 Connecting Extensions to the System’s Internal MDF (Main
Distribution Frame)
Introduction
Attach cables to the system’s Main Distribution Frame and route them through the
conduits and openings to reach the carrier’s main telephone distribution cabinet.
4.7.1 HiPath 1120

Before powering up the system, ensure that the chassis is properly grounded. Turn
system power on or off by using the switch located on the system’s AC input.
