This chapter describes the characteristics of System Telephones and Standard Tele-
phones (DP/DTMF).

System telephones are designed exclusively for HiPath 1100 systems. In addition to
special features, system telephones display the status of external lines and exten-
sions by means of programmable LED keys.
The programming for the system is described in Chapter 7, “Configuring the System
Specifically for the Client”.
