3.8 Main Distribution Frame
Introduction
The Main Distribution Frame (MDF) connects cabling to a public exchange and exten-
sions by means of connectors.
Follow the procedures described in Chapter 4.7, “Connecting Extensions to the Sys-
tem’s Internal MDF (Main Distribution Frame)” on page 4-32 to attach the cables to
the MDF connectors.
All connectors required for attaching the cables are provided with the modules and
systems.
