1.1.3 Safety Information: Caution
Checking and Measuring Voltage
● Check rated voltage for recommended system installation.
● Proceed very carefully when making measurements on live components or
when servicing equipment with the power on.
Main Circuit Breaker
Know the location of the system’s main circuit breaker and its conductive capacity.
Check this information against the exchange specifications in “Technical Data” on
page 2-7 to assess compatibility.
Damage
Only use tools and equipment that are in perfect condition. Do not operate equip-
ment that is damaged. Report any problems to your supervisor.
ESD Protection for Components (ESD)
To protect an electrostatically sensitive device:
● Wear an anti-static wristband before servicing or maintaining the system or any
of its modules.
● Always transport the system or its modules in appropriate protective packaging.
● When working with boards, always place them on a grounded conductive base.
● Use grounded soldering irons with only.
Layout of the Cables
Position cables in a manner to prevent damaging them or causing accidents and in-
juring people.
