3.4 Motherboard (MB)
Introduction
The MB is the main board for the HiPath 1100 system. The MB provides all functions
required for PABX operation.
Functions
● CLIP - external calling number identification (service must be provided by local
carrier)
● Central Processing Unit (CPU)
● DTMF generator and detector
● Conference circuits
● Tone generators
● Music source
● Memory (software + client’s data base)
● Digital switch
● Signaling
