Parameter Description
Parity Parity bits are used for error detection. These are added to the coded character to
convert the number of digits set to “1” into an odd or even number.
Input:
No parity (default setting)
Even parity
Odd parity
Data bits Number of data bits with asynchronous transfer.
Input:
7 data bits
8 data bits (default)
Overwriting
with con-
firmation
Y: When reading in, it is checked whether the file already exists in the NC.
N: The files are overwritten without confirmation warning.
