Editing the IDNET
Multiloop
To edit the IDNet Point Editing tab
(Figure 6-11):
The Point Editing tab is used to define
the points on the IDNet loop. Once the
Verification points are defined, they
must be associated to a zone. The other
types of points can also be associated to
a zone, but it is not mandatory.
1. Select an IDNet point to configure in
the table.
2. Assign a device type to the IDNet
point.
3. Assign a point type to the IDNet
point.
4. Enter a custom label. This label
should make the IDNet point easily
identifiable.

(Figure 6-12).
a. Scroll through the list and select the zone to populate.
b. Press the space key. A “>>” symbol appears to the left of each point to indicate that it is
selected.

modifications.

To edit the Loop Editing tab
(Figure 6-13)
The Loop Editing tab is used to define
the loops on the IDNet Multiloop card.
To edit the loops, follow the same steps
as for the Point Editing tab, but skip
step 3, since there is no point type for
loops.
