Pipette 0.20 ml each of
Cl-1 into two test tubes.
Add to one tube 10 ml of
the sample with pipette
and mix.
Reaction time:
10 minutes
Transfer both solutions
into two separate
50-mm-cells.
Select method with
AutoSelector.
Place the blank cell into
the cell compartment.
Add to each tube 0.20 ml
of Cl-2 with pipette and
mix.
Check the pH of the
sample, specified range:
pH 3 – 11.
If required, add dilute
ammonia solution or
nitric acid drop by drop
to adjust the pH.
Measuring 0.10 – 5.00 mg/l Cl 50-mm cell
range: Expression of results also possible in mmol/l.
Add to the second tube
10 ml of of distilled water
