Seat, seatbelt and SRS airbags/Child restraint systems
The ISOFIX anchor bars allow you to
install a child restraint system only on the
rear seat window-side seating positions.
For each window-side seating position,
two anchor bars are provided.
You will find the marks “ ” at the bottom of
the rear seat seatbacks. These marks
indicate the positions of the ISOFIX
anchor bars.

1. Open the covers.
2. Remove the head restraint of the rear
seating position where the child restraint
system is to be installed.
CAUTION
Do not place the head restraint that
has been removed in the passenger
compartment to prevent it from
being thrown around in the passen-
ger compartment in a sudden stop
or a sharp turn.
3. Store the removed head restraint in
the trunk (Sedan) or cargo area (Outback).
