Selecting plots
Selected plots are surrounded by a blue selection rectangle.
The following options are available:
To select a single plot within the Plots area, click on the plot.
To select or deselect multiple plots, hold Ctrl while clicking on plots.
Plots may also be selected by dragging out a selection rectangle around
the desired plots. The rectangle selects everything it touches. Ctrl
dragging a selection area around plots will toggle that selection of the
plots.
To select all plots, press the Ctrl + A keys.
Plot selection options are also available from the Edit group on the
Analyze tab of the Ribbon (see chapter Edit group on page 73).
On selecting a plot, the Plot Format tab becomes available on the Ribbon
providing options to edit type, gating and axis scales of plots and to set
histogram smoothing (see chapter 12.4.14 Plot Format tab on page 124).
Resizing plots
For resizing plots, select the Resize Plots or Resize Previews button from
the status bar and use the resize slider on the status bar to adjust the size of
the plots (see chapter Resize options on page 186).
If a mouse with a central wheel is used, plots can also be resized by
selecting plots and pressing the Ctrl key while scrolling the mouse wheel.
Selecting parameters for display
If the Previews area does not display the required parameters, you can
select or deselect parameters from those present on the Parameters tab of
the Ribbon (see chapter 12.4.5 Parameters tab on page 76).
Analysing and modifying plots in the Plots area
Plots are selected from the Previews area and added sequentially to the
Plots area.
An ungated plot displays no colour border and "[Ungated]" as the plot
heading.
If the Previews area has a gate applied, the plots added to the Plots area will
also have this gate applied. This process will automatically create a gate if
required. A gated plot is surrounded by a coloured border which denotes the
gate colour applied. By default, the gate name is displayed as the plot
heading.
