The "On" column allows you to select whether the parameter belongs in
the Height (Peak), Width (Time of Flight), Area (Integral) or Other type.
Double-click in the cell or press F2 to open a drop-down list and select
the desired type for the parameter.
Click the Reset to default button to reset all parameters for the currently
loaded file to their default values.
View group
The View group contains options to select all parameters of a specific signal
type for display in the Previews area.
The View group contains the following buttons:
Area (Integral): The button toggles the selection of all Area / Integral
parameters, i.e. parameters that represent the area under the curve from
a pulse.
Height (Peak): The button toggles the selection of all Height / Peak
parameters, i.e. parameters that represent the peak height of a pulse. If
the file does not contain this type of signal or if the software is unable to
determine the signal type, this button will be disabled.
Width (Time Of Flight): The button toggles the selection of all Width /
Time Of Flight parameters, i.e. parameters that represent the width of a
pulse. If the file does not contain this type of signal or if the software is
unable to determine the signal type, this button will be disabled.
Scatter group, Fluorescence group and Other group
Individual parameters are classified into three groups: Scatter, Fluorescence
and Other. A parameter that is selected here will appear within the plots in
the Previews area. A parameter that is deselected will not appear within the
plots in the Previews area. Plots already displayed in the Plots area are not
affected by selections made here.
Parameter and stain names must be unique. If this is not the case, the
software will automatically append either the stain or parameter name to
ensure uniqueness.
Parameters deselected here are hidden from other parts of the software.
You should be careful when hiding parameters which have compensation
values applied as these values will not be visible in the compensation
matrix.
