7.12.1. DISASSEMBLING THE SHORT CONNECTING-ROD (R – L)

Carry out the procedure described in paragraph:
7.8.2. “Disassembling the lateral guards”.
WARNING: be careful to the magnets
on pulley during the disassembly.
1. Remove the bearing cover (a)
flat screwdriver.

2. Back off the screw (b) using a 5mm
hexagonal wrench, blocking the opposite nut
with a 17mm wrench, as shown in the figure
at the side.
WARNING: Before disconnecting the
connecting-
attention to the platform that can falls
down.
During the reassembly take care of the
parts order, as detailed below:
CAUTION: During the reassembly
lock down the screw (b) using a torque
wrench set for 44Nm.
