7.5. DISASSEMBLING THE COLUMN

Carry out the procedure described in paragraph:
7.8.1. “Disassembling the upper ”.
1. Remove the bolts head covering caps (a).

2. Back off the 2 bolts (b)
, using a 17mm
wrench.
3. Back off the 2 bolts (c)
on the opposite side,
using a 17mm wrench.
4. Lift the column (d)
with caution, supporting
the weight.
CAUTION: Durin
g the reassembly
back off the bolts (b) and (c), using a
torque wrench set for 44Nm.
