7.21. DISASSEMBLING THE LOWER BALANCER

Carry out the procedure described in paragraph:
7.8.2. “Disassembling the lateral guards” and at
the paragraph: 7.20. “
footboard and levers” to the point (5).
1. Back off the screw (a) from the ball-joint,
using a 6mm hexagonal wrench, blocking the
counter-nut using a 17mm wrench.
During the reassembly respect the
parts order, as detailed below: lock
down so that the spacer (3) is blocked
while the washer (4) free to move.
Mount the washer with the conical
side toward the ball-joint.
2. Remove the tie-rot (2).
