Operating Basics How to Save and Recall a Setup
TSV le format description
For Low Speed and Full Speed Signal Quality Check, the input TSV le is an m x 3 matrix with m
rows and three columns. The le has Time v alues and Voltage values for D+ and D– in the rst, second
and third columns respectively.
The input TSV le for High Speed Signal Quality Check is a m x 2 m atrix with m rows and two columns.
The le has Time and Voltage values for D ifferential signals in the rst and s econd columns.
The input TSV les for Inrush and Droop tests are an m x 2 matrix with m rows and 2 columns. For Inrush
tests, the le has Time and Current values in the rst and second columns. For Droop test, the le has
Time and Vo
ltage values in the rst and second columns.
CSV le format description
Low Speed and Full Speed single-ended signals for Signal Quality Check require two .csv les to generate
the corresponding TSV le. The .csv les have two columns. One .csv le has time and voltage values
for D+ signals, while the second column has the time and the current values for D– signals. Both les
must have the same time values.
Differential signals require one .csv le with two columns, one column for time a nd another for voltage
values.
If you select Differential for Inrush and Droop signa ls, the .csv le has two columns: one column for time
values, and another for current and voltage values. You require only one .csv le for Inrush and Droop
tests. This .csv le has two columns: one column for the Time Values and the other for Current (Inrush)
and V
oltage (Droop) values. You must use the Differential option for conversion.

How to Save and Recall a Setup
You can use the Save and Recall menus to save and recall the va rious conguration setups. To access the
Save and Recall menus , go to the File menu in the menu b ar and choose Save or Recall.
NOTE. Do not edit the .ini or the .set les, or the recall setup les generated by the application. This can
cause instability to the application. If you try to edit the.ini of the .set les, you get an error message ‘The
s
aved le has been corrupted and cannot be recalled.’
