contact technical support to upgrade the instrument rmware before thermal
cycling chips (see “Customer and technical support” on page 123).

cycling chips. If missing, create the PCR method before proceeding.

IMPORTANT! The heated cover MUST be at 70°C before loading the chips.
Excessive heat from the heated cover may cause the chips to leak during
thermal cycling.
