Open the QuantStudio
™
3D Digital PCR Chip Loader package and place the
loader on the surface where you will load chips. Attach the power cord to the
chip loader and connect it to an outlet.
IMPORTANT! Do not power on the chip loader until you are ready to use it.
IMPORTANT! Do not install the chip loader in an area that may damage the
enclosure.
IMPORTANT! When loading chips, the chip loader must be placed on a level
surface.
The instrument is now ready to use.

Open the package containing the Base Module.
2.
Remove the packing crate from the package, and verify that it contains all of the
parts listed on the shipping manifest.
If you have not received one or more of the parts, contact customer support for
replacement (see “Customer and technical support” on page 123).
