Observation Possible Cause Action
Condensation may have
been present on the chip
during imaging.
IMPORTANT! Condensation may
not be visible on the chip.
If condensation is not visible – If
possible, read the chip again
after it has warmed to room
temperature. Once equilibrated,
the data quality, ag, and
separation of amplied versus
non-amplied peaks should
improve noticeably.
If condensation is visible – Using
a low-lint wipe, remove any
condensation or Immersion Fluid
from the surface of the chip by
wiping in one direction. If
needed, use a low-lint wipe
sprayed with isopropanol to
remove any dried residue.
The loading blade was not
