•Theowcontroloriceinliftcontrolmanifoldfortheaffected
cuttingreelisplugged,stuck,ordamaged.
•Theliftcylinderleaksinternally.
Oneormorecuttingunitraises,butdoesnotstayup.
Note:Theliftcylindersandcontrolmanifoldcartridgevalves
cannotprovideanabsolutelyperfectseal.Thecuttingunits
willeventuallylowerifleftintheraisedposition.Atminimum,
thecuttingunitsshouldremainintheraisedtransportposition
longenoughtosafelymovefromonefairwaytothenext.
•Theliftcircuithydrauliclinesorttingsareleaking.
•Airexistsintheliftcircuit.
•Theliftcylinderfortheaffectedcuttingreel(s)leaks
internally.
•Thecheckvalveintheliftcontrolmanifold(CV1,CV4,CV5,
andCV23)andsolenoidvalve(SV1andSV3)leaks.
•Thepilotpistonintheliftcontrolmanifoldisstuckor
damaged.
Noneofthecuttingunitswillraiseorlower.
Note:Theoperatormustbeintheseatortheparkingbrake
engagedandmowspeedlimitermustbeinmowspeed
positioninordertolowerthecuttingunits.
•Theuidlevelinthehydraulicreservoirislow(other
hydraulicsystemsareaffectedaswell).
•MR1/MV1and/orMR2/MV2inliftcontrolmanifoldareinthe
backlapposition.

•AnelectricalproblemexiststhatpreventsSVRVsolenoid
coilontheliftcontrolmanifoldfrombeingenergized(refer
toTroubleshooting(page7–26)ortheElectricalSchematic
andWireHarnessDrawings/DiagramsinAppendixA(page
A–1)).
•ThesolenoidvalveSVRVintheliftcontrolmanifoldis
damaged.
•Thegearpumpsection(P4)iswornordamaged.
Noneofthefrontcuttingunitswillraiseorlowerbuttherear
cuttingunitswillraiseandlower.
•ThesolenoidvalveSV1ontheliftcontrolmanifoldis
damaged.
•AnelectricalproblemexiststhatpreventsSV1solenoid
coilontheliftcontrolmanifoldfrombeingenergized(refer
toTroubleshooting(page7–26)ortheElectricalSchematic
andWireHarnessDrawings/DiagramsinAppendixA(page
A–1)).
