5.Disconnecthosefromthelowerhydraulicttingontheenginesideofthe
hydrostat(Figure45).
6.Installthetesterinserieswiththepumpandthedisconnectedhose.Make
surethetesterowcontrolvalveisfullyopen.
7.Starttheengine.Movethrottletofullspeed(2650±50RPM).
8.Makesurethatthehydraulicuidisatnormaloperatingtemperatureby
operatingthemachineforapproximately10minutes.Makesurethehydraulic
tankisfull.
9.Verifywithaphototachthatthepumpspeedisapproximately3100RPM.
10.Sitintheoperator’sseat,releasetheparkingbrake,andsetthe
Mow/Transportslidetothetransportposition.
CAUTION
Useextremecautionwhenperforminghydrostatowtests.The
tractionunitwheelswillberotatingduringthetest.
11.VerifythepumpowatNoLoadasfollows:
A.Slowlydepressforwardtractionpedaltofullforwardposition.
B.Recordtesterpressureandowreadings.Unrestrictedpumpoutput
shouldbeapproximately69LPM(18GPM)at44.8Bar(650PSI).
12.VerifypumpowUnderLoadasfollows:
A.Slowlydepressforwardtractionpedaltofullforwardposition.
