fromttings.Installateettingwitha350bar(5000PSI)pressuregauge
betweenthettingandhoseforboththemotorinletandoutlet.
5.MakesurethatthebacklapknobonthehydraulicmanifoldisintheMOW
position.
6.Insertablockofwoodbetweencuttingunitreelbladesandcarrierframeof
cuttingunitbeingtestedtopreventreelfromturning.
7.Starttheengineandrunatlowidlespeed.Checkforanyhydraulicleakage
fromtestconnectionsandcorrectbeforeproceedingwithtest.
8.Makesurethatthehydraulicuidisatnormaloperatingtemperatureby
operatingthemachineunderloadforapproximatelyten(10)minutes.DO
NOTengagecuttingunits.
CAUTION
Adjacentcuttingunitreelswillrotatewhenperformingthe
cross−overreliefpressuretest.Keepawayfromcuttingunitsduring
testtopreventpersonalinjuryfromrotatingreelblades.Donot
standinfrontofthemachine.
9.Onepersonshouldsitontheseatandoperatethemachinewhileasecond
personcloselymonitorsbothpressuregaugesconnectedtothereelmotor.
Makesurethatenginespeedisatlowidleposition(1400±50RPM)and
engagethecuttingunits.
10.Thereshouldbeaslighthesitationinpressureincreaseontheinletsideof
motorasthecross−overreliefvalveopens.Recordthepressurereadingon
boththeinletandoutletsidepressuregauges.
11.Disengagethecuttingunitsandstoptheengine.
