1.Ifhydraulicttingswereremovedfrommotor,lubricatenewO−rings,position
O−ringstottingsandinstallttingsintomotorports(seeInstallingthe
HydraulicFittings(SAEStraightThreadO-RingFittings)(page5–8)).Make
surethatttingsareorientatedcorrectly.
2.CoatsplineshaftofthereelmotorwithNo.2multipurposelithiumbase
grease.LubricatetheO−ringonthemotorangewithcleanoil.
3.Installthecapscrewsforthereeldrivemotorintothecuttingunitsideplate
andleaveapproximately12.7mm(1/2inch)ofthreadsexposedoneach
screw.
4.Rotatethemotorclockwisesothemotorangesclearthecapscrewsinthe
cuttingunitsideplates.Alignreelmotorshaftsplineswithcuttingreelinsert
splines.Slidemotorshaftintoreelinsert.
