3.Clampthefrontangeofmotorinavisewithsoftjawswiththeshaftend
down.
4.Loosenthecapscrewsfromtherearcover.
5.Removethemotorfromthevise.Turnmotorsothattheshaftendisfacing
downandremovecapscrews.
6.Carefullyremovetherearcover.RemoveanddiscardtheO–ringfromthe
body.Locateandretrievedowelpins.
7.Carefullyremovebody.Liftbodystraightuptoremove.Makesurethatthe
rearwearplateremainsonthedriveandidlergearshafts.Removeand
discardO–ringfromthebody.Locateandretrievedowelpins.
IMPORTANT
Recordpositionoftheopenandclosedsideofthewearplates
beforeremoving.Identifywearplates(innerandouter,drivegear
andidlergear)withamarkerforproperassembly.
IMPORTANT
Marktherelativepositionsofthegearteethsotheycanbe
reassembledinthesame(mated)position.Donottouchthegear
surfacesasresidueonhandsmaybecorrosivetogearnish.
8.Carefullydisassembletheinnerwearplate,idlergear,drivegearandouter
wearplate.
