5.Applyalightcoatingofpetroleumjellytotheexposedsideofthefrontange.
6.Lubricatethedrivegearshaftwithcleanhydraulicuid.Insertthedriveend
ofthedriveshaftthroughtheouterwearplatewiththepressuresealside
downandtheopensideofthepressuresealpointingtotheinletsideofthe
motor.Carefullyinstallshaftintofrontange.
7.Lubricatetheidlergearshaftwithcleanhydraulicuid.Installidlergear
shaftintotheremainingpositionintheouterwearplatewithgearteethin
thematedpositionrecordedduringdis−assembly.Applyalightcoatingof
cleanhydraulicuidtogearfaces.
8.Installrearwearplatewithpressuresealsideupandopensideofthe
pressuresealpointingtotheinletsideofthemotor.
9.Installinnerwearplatewithpressuresealsideupandopensideofthe
pressuresealpointingtotheinletsideofthemotor.
10.ApplyalightcoatingofpetroleumjellytonewO–ringandO–ringgroovesin
thebody.InstallnewO–ringtothebody.
Note:Whenassemblingthemotor,checkthemarkerlineoneachpartto
makesurethepartsareproperlyalignedduringassembly.
11.Installlocatingdowelsinbody.Alignmarkerlineonthebodyandfrontange.
IMPORTANT
Donotdislodgesealsduringinstallation.
12.Gentlyslidethebodyontotheassembly.Firmhandpressureshouldbe
sufcienttoengagethedowels.
13.Checktomakesurethatthesurfaceofthebodycontactsthefrontange.
Ifthebodydoesnotcontactthefrontange,checkassemblyforashifted
pressureseal,backupgasketorO–ring.Correctbeforeproceeding.
14.MakesurethatlubricatedO−ringandlocateddowelsareinstalledinrear
ofbody.
15.Placerearcoverontotheassembly.Firmhandpressureshouldbesufcient
toengagethedowels.
16.Installthefour(4)capscrewswithwashersandhandtightenscrews.
IMPORTANT
Preventdamagewhenclampingthemotorintoavise;useavise
withsoftjawsandclamponthefrontangeonly.
17.Placefrontangeofthemotorintoavisewithsoftjawsandalternatelytorque
thecapscrewsto45N·m(33ft−lb).
18.Installcross−overreliefvalvesintorearangeiftheywereremoved.Torque
reliefvalves25N·m(19ft−lb).
19.Removethemotorfromvise.
20.Placeasmallamountofcleanhydraulicuidintheinletofthemotorand
rotatethedriveshaftawayfromtheinletonerevolution.Ifanybindingis
evident,disassemblethemotorandcheckforassemblyproblems.
