Thehighowhydrauliclterkitisdesignedwith

andhighpressure(34,500kPaor5,000psi)
capabilities.Thiskitprovidesforbi-directional
ltrationwhichpreventslteredunwantedmaterial
fromenteringintothecircuitregardlessoftheow
direction.
Ifacomponentfailureoccursintheclosedloop
tractioncircuit,contaminationfromthedamaged
partwillremaininthecircuituntilyouremoveit.
Installahighowhydraulic-uidlterintothecircuit
whenyouconnectthehydraulictestgaugesin
ordertotestthetractioncircuitcomponentsorafter
youreplaceafailedtractioncircuitcomponent
(e.g.,pistonpumporwheelmotor).Thislter
removescontaminationfromthehydraulicuidin
thetractioncircuit,therebypreventingadditional
componentdamage.

RemoteStarterSwitch
Afterushingthehydraulicsystemor
replacingahydrauliccomponent(e.g.
gearpump,pistonpump,drivemotor),itis
necessarytoprimethehydraulicpumps.
Aremotestarterswitchcanbeusedfor
thispurpose.Aremotestarterswitch
canbepurchasedlocallyorfabricatedas
follows.
IMPORTANT :Whenusinga
remotestarterswitch,itishighly
recommendedtoincludea20amp
in−linefusebetweenthebatteryand
switchconnectorforcircuitprotection.
Aremotestaterswitchcanalsobe
constructedusingToroswitch#106−2027,
alengthof14gaugewire,a20amp
in−linefuse,two(2)alligatorclipsand
necessaryconnectors.Connectingthe
wiretoswitchterminals1and2willallow
themomentaryswitchcontactstobeused
fortheremotestarterswitch.
