10. Connect the measurement unit cable plug to the connector at the
bottom of FSM102 (see Figure 16 below).

11. Insert the measurement unit into the pole mast and lock it in the
correct orientation as discussed in section Location and Orientation
on page 24 with two 8-mm bolts (see Figure 16 above). The
transmitter and receiver heads can be identified by first locating the
surface temperature probe, which is closer to the transmitter.
12. Erect the mast.
