Tilting the operator’s platform
WARNING
Improperly tilting the cab can cause personal injury
or damage to equipment.
►
Before tilting the cab remove loose objects from
the cab to avoid control/indicator damage.
► Close and conrm that the doors are latched
►
Do not attempt to tilt the cab until the wheel
loader has cooled to the point that the engine
and hydraulic system are comfortable to touch.
► Always immediately secure the tilted cab from
tilting back by using the safety support.
►
Do not remove the bearing plate from the loader
rear frame member.
►
Do not operate the wheel loader until the cab
has been rigidly bolted to the main frame.
►
Tilt the cab slowly and keep hands and arms
clear of pinch points.
NOTICE:
Avoid damage to the cab doors.
Either close the doors or remove them.
Tilting the operator’s platform is accomplished by
removing two mounting bolts from the main frame,
and then using the supplied lever to tilt the opera-
tor’s platform. The lever (item 1, Fig. 63) is stored
beneath the engine enclosure on the rear wall of
the operator’s platform. The complete procedure for
