Before entering the cab
• Check that the loader is clean and undamaged.
•
Check that the handles and steps are in good condition
and clean.
• Check that the cab windows are in good condition and
clean.
• Check that all safety components are present and fully
functional.
• Check that the rods, cylinders, hinge pins and coolers
are clean.
•
Check that all the fasteners, joints and hinge pins t
tightly.
•
Check that all the safety messages and instructional
labels are present and in good condition.
• Check the loader for oil, fuel and coolant leaks.
5.1.2 Operation
WARNING
Personal injury hazard.
► Do not operate the loader if it is not in service-
able condition or responding correctly to control
commands.

Park the machine in a safe place, lower the
loader arms and attachment, stop the engine
and notify your supervisor.
►
Do not operate the machine until the problem
has been corrected.
► Check that the safety devices are present and
operative each time before you start up the
loader.
►
Replace damaged tires to avoid loss of produc-
tion and stability due to sudden deation.
►
Maintain a neat uncluttered operator space to
prevent slipping, tripping and potential impedi-
ments to control movement.
► Keep the operating elements clean.
► Follow the daily servicing schedule.
