Repairs and Adjustments
8. (Figure 7): Remove the left side Fuser Heat Roll Bearing.
NOTE: If the Fuser Bearing is difficult to remove, lower the Latching Cover more to
remove the force of the Pressure Roll.

NOTE: Do not pull the Heat Roll through the frame to remove. Only slide it enough to
clear the frame then move in the opposite direction to remove.
9. (Figure 8): Remove the Fuser Heat Roll.

Remove the Heat Rods
Support Bracket if
present

Remove the wire Grip
Ring

Remove the Fuser
Heat Roll Bearing

Hold the Latching Cover fully
open to remove the force of
the Pressure Roll from the
Fuser Heat Roll.

Move the Fuser Heat Roll to
the left or right until the
opposite end clears the
frame

Lift the Fuser Heat
Roll and remove
