Theory of Operation
Phaser 6130 Operational Overview
The Phaser 6130 Color Laser Printer is a full-color laser printer that uses
Raster Output Scanner (ROS) lasers with an electrophotographic four-color
CMYK process. The tandem system consists of four color drums (C, M, Y, and
K) which creates the toner image.
The following block diagram provides the sequence of events for the
xerographic process (dashed lines) and the paper flow (solid lines) into and
out of the Phaser 6130 printer.
