Release the cables from the hooks in 5 locations.

Loosen the 4 screws affixing the cooling fan unit.

Disconnect the 3 pluggable connectors and remove the fan unit from the drive.

Installing the Cooling Fan Unit
1.
Connect the relay connectors for the fans in the replacement fan unit.
Note: Replace the whole unit when performing maintenance on the cooling fans.
