Video Mode
In this mode the imager behaves as a video camera as long as the trigger is active. Upon trigger release, the
imager returns to Decode Mode. Scan the Video Mode bar code to temporarily enter Video Capture Mode.
Decoding Autoexposure
Parameter # 297 (SSI # F0h 29h)
Select Enable Decoding Autoexposure to allow the imager to control gain settings and exposure
(integration) time to best capture an image for decode mode.
Select Disable Decoding Autoexposure to manually adjust the gain and exposure time (see Fixed Gain and
Exposure Time). Zebra recommends this option only for advanced users with difficult decoding situations.
NOTE The DS457 does not support Video Mode when Trigger Mode on page 6-11 is set to Presentation Mode
(the default).
