Serial Interface 9 - 3
Serial Host Parameters
Various serial hosts use their own parameter default settings. Selecting standard, ICL, Fujitsu, Wincor-Nixdorf
Mode A, Wincor-Nixdorf Mode B, OPOS/JPOS, Olivetti, Omron, or Common Use Terminal Equipment
(CUTE-LP/LG bar code readers) sets the defaults listed in Table 9-2.

*In Nixdorf Mode B, if CTS is low, scanning is disabled. When CTS is high, scanning is enabled.
**If Nixdorf Mode B is scanned without the imager connected to the proper host, it may appear
unable to scan. If this happens, scan a different serial host type within 5 seconds of cycling power
to the imager.
The CUTE host disables all parameter scanning, including Set Defaults. If you inadvertently select
CUTE, scan
*Enable Parameter Scanning (1) on page 6-6
