Why is my Zener Controller motor unstable?
- JjohnfosterSep 8, 2025
Motor instability can stem from several causes. If the SLIP COMP is set too high, verify that the MOTOR NAMEPLATE RPM setting matches the motor's rated speed and the NAMEPLATE CURRENT setting matches the motor's nameplate current, then reduce the SLIP COMP setting. Also, reduce the FLUX PLUS setting. Ensure the correct MOTOR VOLTAGE and MOTOR FREQUENCY are entered from the MOTOR menu. Finally, increase the CURRENT LIMIT setting.
