Lift the motor and put it on the guide pins as
close as possible without pushing the motor
pinion into the gear.

Make sure that the motor is turned the right
way - that is with cables facing downwards.
Remove the lifting tool and allow the motor to
rest on the guide pins.

Use the rotation tool in order to rotate the motor
pinion when mating it into the gear.
When the motor is pushed in position make
sure the motor pinion is properly mated to the
gear of the gearbox.
Be careful not to damage gears in the process.

Remove the guide pins.10
M10x40Secure the motor with its attachment screws
and plain washers.

Tightening torque: 50 Nm.
Reused screws can be used providing
they are lubricated as described in
section Screw joints on page 461before
fitting.
Disconnect the 24 VDC power supply.12

Use this procedure to connect all connectors on motor axis 2.

Install a new gasket in the cable gland.1
Connect in accordance with the mark-
ings on connectors.
Connect all connectors on motor axis 2.2
Refit the cable gland cover at the cable exit.3
Make sure the cover is tightly sealed.Refit the cover of the motor with its attachment
screws.

Apply rust protection (Mercasol) on the frame,
outside the motor flange as a protection of the
broken paint layers.
