Refitting motor axis 3
Use this procedure to refit motor axis 3.

DANGER
Turn off all:
• electric power supply
• hydraulic pressure supply
to the robot, before entering the robot
working area.

Clean the joints that have been opened. See
Cut the paint or surface on the robot before
replacing parts on page 219

Make sure the o-ring on the circumference
of the motor is seated properly.
Lubricate the o-ring with some grease.

Fit the lifting tool, motor axes 2, 3, 4 to the
motor.

Shown in the figure in:

Fit guide pins in the two lower holes for
motor attachment screws.

CAUTION
The motor weighs 27 kg! All lifting equip-
ment used must be sized accordingly!

Lift the motor onto the guide pins and guide
it as close to the correct position as possible
without pushing the motor all the way into
the gear.

Remove the lifting tool and allow the motor
to rest on the guide pins.

To release the brakes, connect the 24 VDC
power supply.
Connect to connector R2.MP3:
• + = pin 2
• - = pin 5
