1+1 HSB configuration in Single NE mode with 7705 SAR
In 9500 MPR Release 4.1.0, when 1+1 HSB is selected, the screen reports the status of the
EPS, TPS and RPS protection. This screen reports only the current status and configuration:
it cannot be used to make configuration changes. For more detailed information on 1+1 HSB
protection and relative operator commands, see the 7705 SAR OS 6.0.R1 documentation.
Caution: There is no automatic synchronization of the configuration of the two MPTs in a
1+1 HSB configuration. The MCT sessions for the main and the spare MPTs are separate:
the operator must verify that the configurations are aligned.
Note: 1+1 HSB is only supported by 9500 MPR Release 4.1.0 when the MPR-e is in Single
NE mode with 7705 SAR; see 7705 SAR platform prerequisites for more detailed
information.
