7705 SAR platform prerequisites
Any 7705 SAR chassis can be connected to an MPR-e in the same way as any other Ethernet
generic device. In addition, connecting a SAR-8 or SAR-18 chassis with a Packet Microwave
Adapter card (3HE02782AA) provides key additional features depending on the 7705 SAR
software release.
The following levels of integration are available:
• 7705 SAR and MPR-e standalone mode
• 7705 SAR and MPR-e in Single NE mode
• 1+1 HSB in Single NE mode with 7705 SAR only
