XPIC)
MPT-XP connectivity (1+1 HSB in Single NE mode with 7705 SAR)
In this configuration, the MPT-XP units can be installed on the same antenna or different
antennas (SD). The two MPT-XP units must be connected to the 7705 SAR, and if they are
on the same antenna, connected to each other using a coupler. See Figure 29 for an example.
Two types of coupler are available for the MPT-XP:
3 dB/3 dB balanced coupler or 1 dB/10 dB unbalanced coupler
Note: The 1+1 configuration with MPT-XP can be implemented only with an interconnection
cable between the two ODUs.
Note: An MPT-HC and an MPT-XP can form a 1+1 configuration with the use of a specific
cord.
